TUUCAN Spring/Summer 2026 Update

Today's post is a short update on what is happening with the Tennessee Unitarian Universalist Community Action Network (TUUCAN)

Over the last few weeks, the governance committee has been working hard creating a charter for TUUCAN. During our monthly steering committee meeting last Sunday, the governance committee presented the charter for review. The charter has articles that address electing a governing board and how to become a member of TUUCAN for example.

This is an exciting time for TUUCAN. We are quickly becoming the organization that we envisioned so many years ago and that we have described in our mission statement. The charter will soon be ready for consent from the steering committee. Kudos to the hard work the governance committee has put forth!

There is also a newsletter in the works for TUUCAN- stay tuned for more information on this, the charter, and all things TUUCAN related. Things are moving quickly and we want everyone to have the ability to stay informed.
