Our Abundant Spring Calendar

Of course the magic of spring is just upon us; everything is getting green and is starting to grow and bloom. We usually associate this time of year with spring cleaning and letting the fresh air into our houses and our lives. It’s a good time to organize calendars and plan ahead for when the warmer days pull us outdoors and beckon us to become more active.

Here’s what going on at Westside this spring:

Westside’s Wizarding World: Camp of Fantasy & Fun has officially opened our online registration. Summer camp runs from June 24-28, 9 am – 2 pm. https://www.westsideuuc.org/camp
Kids’ Club and Youth Group, 2nd and 4th Sundays, (RE classes) each month, during the service.
March 23, Ostara, 6:30-9:30 (contact Rev. Carol for more information)
March 31, Congregational Meeting, after the service. Informational meeting about proposed budget, board member nominations, and other board and congregational matters.
April 7, Canvas Kick-Off Brunch, after the service. Celebrate abundance at Westside with good food, great company, and generosity of spirit!
April 21, Easter Egg Hunt (and Potluck), after the service. Our annual spring celebration of fun for the whole family will feature a special service project in addition to the egg hunt. It’s a “Warm Hearts – Open Minds – Caring Hands” kind of Easter at Westside!
May 4, Beltane, 6:30-9:30 (contact Rev. Carol for more information)
May 5, Family Choir. If your family loves to sing together, or would like to try, join Music Director Anne Scott at 9:30 am to rehearse. Choir pieces will be performed that Sunday during the service. What a fun way to get out of your comfort zone and share your talents!
May 19, RE End of Year Party & Congregational Meeting (and Potluck), after the service. Kids Club and Youth Group will go back to the RE classrooms for our end of the year celebration. Adults stay in the sanctuary and vote.
