The Power of Pledging

There's something special at Westside. If you've been around even a little while, you've probably felt it. It's in the conversations before and after service. It's in the laughter, potlucks, coffee time and support when someone needs it. It's the sense that Westside is more than a place you just attend. It's a place you belong. And like any good thing, it's worth sustaining.

This person has just pledged to Westside. He feels great!

That's where pledges come in! A pledge is simply a commitment to the life of this church, a way of putting some structure behind the care and connection we already feel. The lights, the ministries, the outreach, the space we gather in. They all depend on us choosing to support them. And the encouraging news is that many of you already have pledged. We are at 66% of our budget goal. Thank you to everyone who has made a pledge. You've helped create momentum and optimism for those of us involved in the pledge drive. If you haven't made a pledge yet, you're warmly invited to be part of it. Pledges are about shared commitment. Every pledge, no matter the size, is part of what makes this community work. It's how we move forward together with intention, rather than just hoping things fall into place. We've got a good thing going at Westside and with your participation, it can become even stronger, more welcoming, and more impactful in the months ahead. So whether you've already pledged or are still planning to, please know that you are part of what makes this place what it is. Together, we can keep this good thing going.
