Dear Members and Friends,
For those of us who were involved in the varied aspects of the alternative auction and Cabaret, we would like to thank you for making the evening a social and financial success. I loved the finale. Cindy Arnold and Tina Pemberton led everyone in their rendition of “We are Family”. We were clapping, dancing, and singing the words “We are Westside family.” The party ended on a high note.
Thanks to everyone who attended or provided proxies for the March 20 Congregational meeting. The Board values your approval of the nominees for the Board, the Endowment and Nominating Committees. I appreciate Terry Tyler leading the discussion concerning the proposed 2016-2017 budget. From your comments and questions, I know that there is concern about Westside’s financial stability. Terry is providing clarification in this E-dition. Please consider the budget as you consider your pledge for the 2016-2017 fiscal year and prepare to vote on the proposed budget at the May 22 Congregational meeting.
